Architectual Practice Exam (APE)

The Architectural Practice Examination (APE) is a national scheme administered by the Architects' boards of each State and Territory on behalf of the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia (AACA).
Generally, three steps outline the requirements for satisfactory completion of the APE:

You must:

  1. have a recognised academic qualification in architecture or a pass in the National Program of Assessment (NPrA), or a pass in the Board's prescribed examinations - for more information on academic qualifications - click here;
