PART 2 - NATIONAL WRITTEN EXAMINATION PAPER

The National Written Examination paper is conducted approximately one month after the closing date for applications to sit for the Architectural Practice Examination.

In Queensland these examinations are conducted twice yearly.

Candidates who are successful in Part 1 of the process will be advised of the venue and time for the examination by mail and email when the Log Books have been assessed.

The written examination is in the form of multiple choice responses to a scenario or series of scenarios and will be conducted as an "closed book" examination of ONE HOUR DURATION.   No books or computers may be brought into the examination room.

The AACA Guide for APE Candidates is available for downloading from the AACA website www.aaca.org.au. This guide provides an outline of matters covered by the examination.   Revisions of that publication may be posted to the AACA website.
