Recognition of Academic Qualifications
The Architects Accreditation Council of Australia (AACA) is responsible for setting the standards of recognition of academic qualifications and approval of overseas qualifications.
For eligibility to sit the Architectural Practice Examination you must have:

a statement from AACA that your overseas qualifications (from a school not already recognised by the AACA) have been assessed through the
Overseas Qualifications Assessment
(OQA) program as being equivalent to an accredited Australian architecture qualification. You should contact AACA for the assessment of your overseas qualification/s - or
a pass in the National Program of Assessment (NPrA). This program is conducted through AACA and if you are interested you should contact AACA, or
If you are unable or unwilling to obtain a qualification from an approved School of Architecture, you may be eligible to undertake a number of new pathways to registration. Contact
AACA
