Revised Code of Practice for Architects in Queensland
The Board of Architects of Queensland (BOAQ) has recently reviewed its Code of Practice (Code) for Architects in Queensland, and is inviting feedback on its revisions.
The proposed changes to the Code articulate, for the public and for architects, acceptable professional standards against which an architect’s service will be considered in the event of a complaint being made. The current revision incorporates common issues raised by complainants to the Board over the past few years. The proposed changes also reflect the experience of other Boards in Australia in considering complaints from the public.
