The Board of Architects of Queensland is currently gearing up for the annual registration renewal period.
One of the biggest tasks is ensuring that all our registered Architects’ contact details are up to date to ensure that everyone receives their Annual Renewal Notice.
The big news for 2017 is that this process just got easier! The Board’s new website (located here www.boaq.qld.gov.au) now provides registered Architects with access to their own records for updating contact details all year round. The website is set up for use on any device – computer, laptop, tablet or mobile phone.
You will be able to log in to our site at any time and renew online from 1 April each year.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD):
Just a reminder that the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) year concludes on 31 March. As this date is fast approaching, please take the time to check that you are on track to complete the required 20 hours of CPD (including a minimum of 10 hours of formal CPD activities) by that date.
Last year's random CPD audit identified an alarming 8.9% non-compliance rate for those audited. Please don’t be caught out this year.
